"WILD and FREE"The stunning photos on the pages of this book are just a small sample of the fantastic work Charlie & Suze have produced in the past few years, and I can only say it’s been a sheer joy to be involved with them, both with H&E and in producing this book. Were it not for the fact that Charlie knows his way round a Nikon rather well, and Suze’s boundless enthusiasm for creating ever more intriguing images (clambering up trees, jumping from waterfalls into freezing-cold pools, squeezing into barrels and underground drains and walking barefoot in derelict buildings), this book would simply not have happened.’ Sam Hawcroft, Editor H&E. Charlie’s 150 page photographic tribute to the stunningly beautiful Suzanne Marshall is now available.‘This fabulous book is a wonderful collection of photographs, brilliantly showing off the vivacious and effervescent spirit that is Suzanne Marshall.’ |

"MORE CHARLIE'S ANGELS ~ NATURALLY (2007-2019)"This is a follow-up to the 2006 Charlie’s Angels - Naturally and contains 150 pages of stunning naturist photographs by Charlie of 16 more Angels who between them have graced the cover of H&E naturist with their intoxicating beauty on 35 occasions since 2007. Volumes have been written and pages of H & E filled with the virtues of naturism, described and advocated. Many worthy philosophies expounded and debated, some dogma forcefully presented. Charlie Simonds, a world-wide well respected naturist photographer and journalist’s latest publication, More Charlie’s Angels ~ Naturally (2007 - 2019), simply, but with great impact, gets straight to the point and portrays the sheer joy of naturism, illustrated with his guidance so magnificently by his Angels. Shot in naturist environments, in many different locations, it is a fitting sequel to his earlier works, Charlie’s Angels ~ Naturally and Wild and Free. For those of us who respect women as the more significant sex, share with Charlie his courtesy and constant praise for the pleasure and beauty they bring into this world. His skill in portraying this in More Charlie’s Angels ~Naturally (2007-2019) is masterful and worthy, dear readers, of your purchase, as the book is a must for anyone with an eye for natural beauty, either as a naturist, or non-naturist with an open mind. It is a fine understanding and portrayal of the ultimate joy of the naturist way of life.’ Denis Waters, H&E February 2020 |

"NAKED GLORY"The cover of More Charlie’s Angels features a stunning photo I took of Gloria on Fuerteventura in 2017 and of which I’m very proud – for me it exemplifies the freedom of naturism. The result of this photograph was that it prompted a reader of H&Enaturist to write to me to suggest that I publish a naturist photo-tribute to Gloria enjoying being naked in much the same way as I had in 2013 published Wild and Free, my photo-tribute to the beautiful Suzanne. So in 2022 my latest photo-book, Naked Glory, was published and is my tribute to Gloria who not only appeared regularly in H&Enaturist between 2016 and 2018, but also on the cover of seven editions. Her breathtaking beauty, her vivacious, enchanting personality and her love of naturism shine through Charlie’s 156 page photo-tribute to Gloria in all her Naked Glory.

"EVEN THE BIRDS STOPPED SINGING"Having been commissioned into the Parachute Regiment from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Charlie Shea-Simonds enjoyed fifty years of both jumping out of aeroplanes and flying them. In this lively recollection of those years, during which Charlie did time as Chairman of the British Parachute Association, the Royal Aero Club and the Historic Aircraft Association, he was also the recipient of the 1985 Gold Parachuting Medal of the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI). In this often hilarious memoir he also recalls a number of interesting incidents when ‘even the birds stopped singing.’ ‘As Charlie’s life in parachuting and flying unfolds before the reader’s eyes, he/she can see the energy and the gusto, the adventurous and brave spirit, the willing acceptance of responsibility, the multiple achievements, but above all, it is the sheer sense of enjoyment with which he has lived that leaves the most lasting impression. Ultimately Charlie’s story is about more than aviation. It is about the art of living; the human values that shine through the pages mean that there is something for everyone in this splendid and unusual book.’ From the foreword by Air Chief Marshal Sir John Allison KCB CBE |
